Remember:

• Take special care so that you do not become a victim of unconsciousness.
• Do not touch the affected person before disconnecting the power source.
• Move away the cables around the victim - use a wooden or plastic object to do this.
• In an electrocuted victim, SCA usually occurs in a defibrillation mechanism, so an AED greatly increases the chance of survival.
